Trailer
You may know Vincent Price from such films as “House of Wax,” “Theater of Blood” and “The Pit and the Pendulum.” What you may not know is that in 1964 the King of Horror hosted a revolutionary new food-and-travel program that was shelved by the studio due to the mysterious deaths suffered during its production. This Halloween a new podcast shares the story of the deadliest TV show ever produced!

DEADLIEST MEAL is a production of Man Bites Dog Films LLC.
Good food is where you find it.
Hello, I’m Vincent Price. You may remember me in such films as “House of Wax”, “Theater of Blood” and “The Pit and the Pendulum.”
What you may not know is my persona as a noted gourmand, chef and author of several cookbooks including A Treasury of Great Recipes: Famous Specialties of the World's Foremost Restaurants Adapted for the American Kitchen.
On my new show, I’ll be sharing that culinary treasury with you and your family every Sunday on XBS, America’s favorite television network. With the help of a few close friends, including Salvador Dali, Sofia Loraine, and Aristotle Onassis, I’ll demonstrate how to prepare some of the 1960’s most exciting nouvelle cuisines from some of the world’s most unique kitchens.
This season we’ll pan paella at the Monasterio de San Juan de los Reyes, make moussaka at the Kontos Mansion on the Pelion peninsula in Greece and stew goulache at Nußdorfer Straße 45, the birthplace of Franz Schubert. For gourmet cooking is where you find it, and the finest food, like the finest art, is simply a matter of excellence of preparation, imagination and performance.
So pour a libation, light a cigar, and relax – for the next 30 minutes every strange ingredient, irritating measurement and complicated procedure will be made simple as I shake up your family’s boring old taste buds with famous and infamous recipes gleaned from a culinary odyssey unlike any before.
From haggis to hummus, it’s to die for!!
Warning: Do not attempt in real life. Locations featured in DEADLIEST MEAL are haunted, booby-trapped and extremely dangerous. Production of this program resulted in double digit fatalities and protracted litigation. This podcast may contain ghosts, goblins, spooks, dead lizards, love triangles, espionage, neo fascists, traces of shellfish, Van Gogh’s Portrait on the Road to Tarascon and sundry unexplainable disappearances and mysterious deaths. It is not suitable for small children, pregnant women, and people with heart conditions or nut sensitivities.
